About Claire Freedman
Claire writes picture books for young children, and is probably best known for the multi million selling Aliens Love Underpants series of books. The Underpants series has won numerous awards and been produced as TV animations and theatre shows. Pirates Love Underpants is hitting the stage in December 2024. Claire writes funny laugh-out-loud books, gentle bedtimes stories and everything in between!
She first started writing after attending a local writers group. She still enjoys her lovely writing group almost 30 years on!

What to expect from the event
CIaire will be reading her NEW book, Dragons Love Underpants, and asking the children to look and listen carefully as there will be a silly pants-mad quiz after the story.
CIaire will also talk about writing and give age appropriate writing tips for budding young writers. Of course Claire will be delighted to answer as many questions as possible. Expect lots of giggles and pants fun!
