What to expect from the Ross Montgomery Author Event
After a dramatic reading, Ross will explain how his silly story about a school play going wrong is actually an adaptation of a Shakespeare play, and how Shakespeare plays have been adapted for centuries (with a few famous examples thrown in). Ross will then show how adaptations are a great way to get ideas for your very own stories – we’ll then have a go at adapting a famous Shakespeare play into a brand new story of our own about whatever we want – MACBETH about monkeys? ROMEO AND JULIET about robots? The only limit is your imagination!
