Our School Review
What our pupils thought
“I thought it’s really cool because they said really funny things in the story. I loved Kenneth’s uniform.”
“I thought it’s pretty nice. The cover looks like you’re going to have a nice adventure. I loved how the front cover tricked you with the small writing about pizza drawings. I wish it was real pizza. Imagine opening a page and the pizza just pop pop popping out. That would make feel a bit anxious as I wouldn’t be sure why it was popping out!”
“I think it looks like a really really good book.”
“I thought it was really funny e.g. boarding school= bored in school.”
“I thought the story was very interesting and kept my attention.”
“I thought Peng was a really brainless character. He made me laugh with the things that he said.”

What our educators thought
“This story is so much fun. It’s colourful and fast paced and well worth reading. The children loved listening to it and reading alongside in our book club. It’s full of adventure and excitement. So many of the children loved the jokes. They absolutely loved the main characters, Peng and Spanners. I think this book would be perfect for junior school children. My class of year 3/4 have enjoyed it and it’s already very well read in our library.”
