Teachers love our subscriptions boxes – but don’t just take our word for it!
I wasn’t sure when I first registered and add I work across loads of ages I wasn’t sure which age to pick. However I’ve never been disappointed!
The only time I have been disappointed is when I see another box and wish I had that one instead.
Thank you for my little box of joy! Best money I’ve spent on books.
Kirsten Barrett, teacher and mum, Glasgow
I am absolutely thrilled with my new subscription to the #RR_books Teacher Book Subscription! I received my first box today which was beautifully presented and contained two brand new Middle Grade reads. I was especially pleased to see how diverse the chosen books were with queer and BIPOC representation. It felt like a real treat for me and I know my students will love it too, thanks so much.
Mrs E Kenny, English Teacher and SENCO, London.
I LOVE receiving my teacher subscription box from Reading Rocks. I receive the UKS2 box and have never been disappointed. Each box always includes a new releases that cover a range of topics and from a range of different authors. The little extras like the book posters are also brilliant for me to use in the classroom!
Mr Roughley, Y6 teacher, Wigan
I am the happy recipient of my fourth reading rocks subscription box. The chosen books as always are perfect and the extra touch of them being signed with matching bookmarks is just amazing. I look forward to sharing my joy of books with my year 5&6 class. One very happy subscriber 🙂
Marie Lowry- KS2 Department Lead, RLT Science Network Lead, Year 5&6 – Class teacher
This is such an amazing service, I love opening my box to see what Heather has chosen. Both boxes I’ve received have had books that I wouldn’t normally choose for myself, but that once I pick up I genuinely can’t put down! My Year 6 class look forward to these new additions to my bookshelves and I always have a waiting list!
It’s a real pick me up to have such thoughtful books chosen for me and packaged so beautifully, along with a little treat, bookmarks and signed bookplates. Seriously folks, if you’re not a subscriber yet, why not?
Jane Atkin, Yr 6 teacher, KS2 lead, Wandsworth
I absolutely love my book subscription. I’ve only had one so far but I wish I’d subscribed sooner! It’s like a little present to myself, feels like Christmas morning when I receive it. Excellent, high-quality books that I will definitely enjoy reading over and over again.
Beth Jenkinson (librarian at Goole academy)
I loved my first box and the books have gone down a treat in class. I love the anticipation of not know what books are coming and I have really enjoyed them. It has definitely broadened the range of books that I read, and has encouraged me to try different genres.
Mrs Hinson, Year 6 teacher, Essex
‘These boxes are fantastic! A great way to stay up to date with relevant children’s fiction. Even as a secondary school English teacher I find them brilliant to recommend to y7/8 readers. My students are always very impressed when I am sent signed editions too!’
Kathryn Harding, Secondary teacher of English, Midlands
I love mine – I cant wait for the next one. My class think it’s cool and that they come especially for them – how little do they know THEY’RE ALL MINE!
Mrs Crowther Y3 teacher Lancashire
I have loved every Reading Rocks subscription box I have received. I left one book on my TBR pile once and after reading it was furious with myself for not getting to it sooner.
I have picked an UKS2 box and each choice has been superb, every one has been a gripping read and popular once introduced to my class.
I personally love the suspense of not knowing what will come and how it may be a book I would not normally read but fully trust the recommendation of the team as they have never got it wrong.
I just wish I could afford all boxes.
5* from me.
Miss Ryan, Year 6 teacher, Reading leader. Liverpool.
