How to use Thought Sorts
Essentially, the Thought Sorts are a way for pupils to structure their ideas in response to their reading. Teachers can use them as a model and scaffold to direct and support pupils. The content covered matches both the reading NC and writing NC, meaning the grammar used in the sentences aligns with the expected grammar used by pupils in their writing.
