Why our users
love our service

Thank you from Rowan Class – lots of us want to go and write our own stories!

Duke Street Primary School

Getting authors into classrooms is a real priority for me – this was an easy and affordable way to do this.

A great choice of authors, wonderful interactive sessions and easy to sign up.

Jane Atkins

West Hill Primary, Wandsworth

Absolutely loved our virtual author with Justyn Edwards. He was engaging and the children were captivated throughout.

Booking was really easy to go and there was regular communication about how to promote the event in school to the children and their families. Would definitely recommend.

Meet our curator

Hi, I’m Heather!

“Hello, I’m Heather. I founded Reading Rocks in 2016 with a desire to bring together educators who themselves have a passion for reading. The community began across social media and grew into amazing Saturday CPD events across England. Since then, I have launched a primary book subscription for schools as well as exciting events aimed at sparking a love of books in all children.”

Frequently asked questions

Who is this service for?
This event subscription service is suitable for early years foundation stage and primary education settings.
How do I book an event?

To book an event, simply view our event calendar, select your event then select your ticket type on the event page (class or whole school).

You can use credits to buy your ticket if you are a logged in Reading Rocks subscriber. Otherwise, simply add the event to your cart and head to the checkout where you'll be able to pay by card or PayPal.

Can I cancel a ticket?

We limit the number of tickets we sell for each event. If you need to cancel your ticket, you can do so up to 7 days before the event by emailing events@wherereadingrocks.com. This enables us to open up the spot to another school before sales close.

Can I roll over my credits?

Credits added to teacher book box subscriber accounts will be active for 6 months, giving you plenty of time to find a great event before they expire.
