About the book club:
What our educators thought
“This was the perfect book for our school. The children loved having a story with so much familiarity to their own lives. We try to read the children stories about all celebrations but it was lovely to see them able to share in the joy of this book and share their own experiences of Eid. I think for children who do not celebrate Eid they would just need this celebration explaining and compared to something they do celebrate so they can see the similarities and differences. It is a lovely story to share the excitement of children around special celebrations. The children loved sharing their own little Eid stories such as, “My mummy lets me help her cook the chapati” and “We get new clothes”.
