About Nicola Kent
Nicola Kent is an award-winning author and illustrator of children’s books. She won the Independent Booksellers’ Best New Illustrator Award (2019) and has been shortlisted in both the World Illustration Awards and the Teach Primary Book Awards. She lives in London with her partner, two children, a cat and a dog, and a very untidy desk.

What to expect from the event
Join Nicola Kent for a fun and engaging reading, draw along and Q&A.
Nicola introduces children to concepts of measurement by combining amazing facts about the human body with familiar everyday objects.
The children will each have the chance to draw and measure themselves to find out ‘how many hands tall they are!’
Nicola will read from Measuring Me and the children will be able to ask questions.
