About James Turner and Steve May

James has been making comics for almost as long as he’s been making poos. He is an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator and comic writer with seven published graphic novels and a weekly strip in the Phoenix. His other interests include board games, improv and making explosion noises with his mouth.

Steve has been a lifelong doodler, studying fine art and film making in Nottingham and animation at the Royal College of Art in London. He has honed his scratchy, spontaneous anarchic illustration style to make him the perfect partner for some of today’s leading children’s authors, including Francesca Simon, Harry Hill and Phil Earle, as well as the bestselling Dennis the Menace fiction series. He has had a poo-tastic time working on this book

2. There are 96 bags of human poo on the Moon
3. The average adult human eats about 20 tonnes of food and liquids in their lifetime, which is as heavy as three large elephants
